Everybody with any sense already has one of these on their ATV. I seem to learn the hard way, however, so I’m just coming around to it. A trickle charger on your ATV battery will save you a lot of headaches! The two Polaris models we have both have recoil backup but this past time we started out to go riding my battery was so dead even the rip cord didn’t want to get it going. Another thing about keeping a trickle charger hooked up is that you’ll get frequent inspections of what the terminals are looking like. Better maintenance is never a bad thing!
