I got an interesting phone call today while I was at work.  A couple of my friends were hanging out and a heated debate had sprung up over whether or not Chewbacca is a wookie.  I told them that yes, he was a wookie.  I continued that the best way I could describe it was to compare Collies (Lassie) and Shetland Sheep Dogs (barking-ass little bastards).  They look nearly identical, just one is much larger than the other and that comparisson sort of fits wookies and ewoks.

At the conclusion of the short call, I decided that I’m definitely picking the right friends when they call for a fact check in the middle of an argument about Star Wars.

My friend Amanda had never seen a whole Star Wars film. When I asked her if she wanted to watch the original trilogy she said that she would, but that she already knew what happens. So I took out my voice recorder and asked her to start from the top.

There’s a party in NYC for a movie about a gangster rapper.  Violence ensues.  I don’t think this should surprise anyone.

Police say four men were stabbed at a New York City nightclub advertising an after-party for the film premiere of “Notorious” about rapper Biggie Smalls.

Police said Saturday a 21-year-old victim stabbed numerous times was in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital. Three others were stable.

This trailer looks amazing.  I was never much of a comic book geek, so I had to do a little googling to get the back story on this new batch of superheroes.  As usual, Wiki has all the info you need.
