I didn’t realize Google Street View had caught up to the smaller places like where I live.  I thought it was still just big cities.  My friend Cass pointed out that my car is in the shot of our place.  Pretty neat!

I don’t know about you, but the pictures I take with my cell phone are consistently awful.  But for those shots where you only have a few seconds, sometimes it’s either cell phone or nothing. If you’re a Photoshop guru, then you already know how to clean up the photos and make them look presentable. But if you’re just a regular numbnuts like me, then you should try a free program called Mobile Photo Enhancer. It’s a stripped-down, “For Dummies” version of a photo editor but it does the job and it’s super-easy to use.

So far I am extremely impressed with the quality of the Wordpress software and I am extremely disappointed with the quality of tech support from my hosting company.  This software is a much better tool for the job of maintaining a site like this than was TextPad and FlashFXP.

I like this default template a lot actually, but I want to make this home again and the first thing on my agenda tomorrow afternoon is to get my own custom logo with my own handwriting and my own picture back at the top of this site.  Then I’ll be back to adding content.

Anyway, any of you that actually ever look at what I have here, I think you can expect more posts, better content and a more interactive experience for everybody here.
